Favorite Quotes Fridays

favequotesfridays

Hi Everyone! Back again for another Favorite Quotes Fridays which is a weekly segment that features 2-3 of my favorite quotes from a book I’ve read and loved.

This book was so funny, adorable, sexy, and swoontastic. From the entire series, this is absolutely my favorite. Cam and Avery are so cute together and I just really loved them as a couple — Definitely one of my favorite OTPs.

(This is a New Adult book so there are plenty of steamy scenes and hilarious sexual innuendos).

quotes

“I’m confident enough in my masculinity and sexuality that I can say that Ryan Gosling is just dreamy in this movie.”

“You think I don’t want you? There’s not a single part of you that I don’t want, you understand? I want to be on you and inside of you. I want you against the wall, on the couch, in your bed, in my bed, and every fucking place I can possibly think of, and trust me, I have a vast imagination when it comes to these kinds of things. Don’t ever doubt that I want you. That is not what this is about.”

“Everything was okay. Maybe not perfect, but life wasn’t meant to be perfect. It was messy and sometimes it was a disaster, but there was beauty in the messiness and there could be peace in the disaster.”

Have you read this book or any of the Wait for You series by Jennifer L. Armentrout? What did you think? Leave your comments down below and share some of your favorite book quotes! I’d love to hear from you.

Happy Reading! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

“Juliet … Juliet! Wake up!” Layla says as she shakes the crap out of my body. “Tyler will be here in ten minutes if you want a ride.”

“Go… Er …. Ah,” I grumble into my pillow at my twin.

“I don’t know what you are saying under there.” She yanks my fluffy shield away from my face. “You gotta get out of bed sleepy head. You can’t go to school in your PJ’s” she sing-songs in the most chipper voice ever.

Ugh morning people suck. I roll over onto my back and shoot my twin a glare. “Watch me.” I wrangle myself out of bed and head to the bathroom.

Before I reach the bathroom, Layla says, “Run a flat iron through that rat’s nest you call hair and he sure to throw some lip gloss. You don’t wanna look like roadkill returning to school after break.”

synopsispic

You’d think a girl with the most romantic name in the world would have her pick of boyfriends.

But Valentine’s Day sucks when you’re single. Just ask Juliet Valentine, whose last name happens to also be the name of the most dreaded made-up holiday ever.

A romantic at heart, this year is especially hard on Juliet. Her sister, Layla, is in a new relationship, her mom’s match-making business is doing great, and her school’s new fundraiser is “Love-Grams.”

Juliet’s miserable, a little jealous, and lonely.

Quarterback Jared Black is the most popular guy in school. A star athlete, Jared tops the most-eligible bachelor list year after year. But to Juliet Valentine, he’s all but invisible. She isn’t impressed.

Jared’s never had to work hard to get the attention of a girl before. Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, and he’s determined to ask Juliet out. After all, if Tyler can win over Layla, Jared ought to have a shot with Layla’s sister.

Unlike Tyler and Layla, charm, flattery and good looks won’t work on Juliet. So with the V-Day dance coming up, Jared uses the school’s Love-Grams to let Juliet know how he feels. Should be simple enough, right?

Wrong. Each attempt ends up either in the trash or thrown in someone’s face. Juliet won’t play his game.

Now, without a date to the dance Jared realizes it’s going to take a Hail Mary to win the girl of his dreams.

I devoured this lovely book in less than 24 hours! So adorable and cute. I did have a little problem with the ending — it felt a bit rushed, a little forced, and kind of off.  But overall, I honestly really enjoyed the story so much that I’m going to pick up the first book soon as I can. Anyway, I’ll have my review for this next week during my blog tour stop.

Have you read this book yet? What did you think? Leave your comments down below. I’d love to hear from you!

Have a wonderful weekend loves!
